From early childhood my dream was to be a Dentist. As a little girl I had a really positive experience with my gentile and patient dentist. This has inspired me to follow the same path, believing that kindness is the key. I graduated at the University of Debrecen, Hungary in 2009. During my graduation, I won a scholarship and studied a year at the Univerity of Fernando Pessoa, OPorto, where I fell in love with the portuguese culture and language. After graduating, I lived six years in Southern Brasil, where I specialized in Endodontics and did several postgraduation courses at Esthetic Dentistry. In 2018 I have decided to come back to Portugal, where I live and work since then. I’m a mother of two boys, and besides my profession, I dedicate myself to my family. Restless by nature, I love sports, I do mostly running, Horse riding and yoga. I was born and raised in the Algarve. Nature is my place of peace and, if you add a cat, a book and my family to the landscape, you get my dream place. I chose to become a dentist because I've always shown a great fascination for making small artistic crafts. My journey into dentistry began 11 years ago when I intuitively chose dentistry and ventured to Lisbon to study. I still spent a good few years working there, but I really missed what I had left in the Algarve and the quality of life here. So I decided to change my life and it was at this stage that the opportunity to work at Pura Dental Studio came up. I strive every day to ensure that my work conveys professionalism, quality, empathy, dedication, affection and tranquillity. I realised early on that my professional focus would be orthodontics because of my personal experience as a patient. I always knew I wanted to help people when I grew up, so becoming a doctor has been my dream since I can remember. I soon enrolled some volunteering groups and when it came to the time of choosing my profession, becoming a dentist has shown to be an interenting option, so I went for it, but never would I image I'd love it as much as I do today. I'm from Sintra, so I went to college at Faculty of Dentistry at University of Lisbon, and graduated in 2019. Since I really enjoy studying and improving as a dentist and a person, my studies have continued after graduation with several postgraduations, more focused in the areas of Endodontics and Oral Rehabilitation. About 3 years ago I had the chance of getting to know the Algarve more deeply, until then I had only come on holidays, and really fell in love with this paradise, which led me to the decision of starting to work here as well. So now I devide myself beetween 2 amazing lands, Sintra, my hometown, and the Algarve. Being someone who's unable to not have any thing to do in my free times, I usually spend them running, walking around somewhere new or socialyzing with friends, family and my lovelly dog Balu. I have a degree in Orthopaedics and have had the privilege of working in this field for four years, which has allowed me to help people and make a difference to their well-being. I've always had a great passion for healthcare and the desire to evolve, learn more and grow professionally led me to embrace a new challenge: dentistry. I have a degree in Mathematics and worked as a teacher for almost 10 years in Brazil, during which time I developed skills such as organisation, empathy and communication. When I moved to Portugal, I discovered a new vocation in administration, and since then I've been enthusiastically taking on new challenges. I currently work as a dental assistant, where I combine my attention to detail, commitment and continuous desire to learn, contributing to an efficient and welcoming work environment.
